Dusting of snow on summit of Mt. Bohemia on October 10, 2009. But since that date is already taken, I will go with unlucky November 13.

Groomed skiing at Michigan Tech on November 13, 2012.

An interesting wager, since oftentimes Mohawk can be a bit of an early season banana belt with places like Delaware, Calumet, Negaunee, Twin Lakes, Ironwood, and especially Covington and Herman much more likely to see the earliest snowfall. Other years, Mohawk can get a surprise early dusting like back in 2009.

Looks like a lot of us are going to be way off this year.... oh well, another contest I didn't stand a chance of winning unless it comes down on Sunday. Of course with a forecast of low 50's and sunny I'd have a better chance of the Bears making the playoffs than a coating of snow in the Keweenaw.

November 17........if its not taken. Just hope this season isn't like 2 seasons ago, where it really didn't get deep till the end of January! But it hung on from there, I think there were rides into late May.

Dang it....just checked, Nov 17th taken, so moving to November 18th.
