I love the show, but did anyone else find the new camera angles and the way they shot and edited it a little annoying compared to years past?
And it also seems as if the fight was played up a little for the cameras?
I hope this show hasn't run its course to the point where Discovery has to encourage them to add extra drama?

I think the issue with the screen is the super fast cameras discovery chanel is using. Kinda the same look as the other nature documentary shows they air. (planet earth, etc.) I would be shocked if Johnathin was the first that guy gave that arrogant SOB a good shove. What he did, trying to poach the Time Bandit's men, is total B.S. I am suprised there has not been a mutany on the Wizzard yet the way he treats his guys.

Problem with "Made in America" is they have a limited run since they will run out of things made here way faster than "Deadliest Catch" will run out of crabs! "how it's Made" Great info, yet monotone, bores me to sleep. "Dirty Jobs" is begging every episode for ideas.

to me this is the best show on tv but very sad about Phil's passing Just hope that down the road all the other captains think about there health just as much as they do the crab and start taking action about it . I wish they would replace the Wizard with the Farwest Leader that was on a few years back with Greg and his wife Rhinehold that boat showed a family life as well to in a better light Keith and Monte are jerks Sig and Jonothan and Andy rock I hope Jake Anderson finds peace one day if and when they find his dad. Also I hope that Jake and Josh find a common ground to get there relationship back in order to be brothers again . RIP Phil and may God Bless you
do gill net salmon instead allot less cold but same hours same bad weather but in a smaller boat.there is allot of drama when you are in 25 to 30 ft waves in a 70ft boat 1 motor down and a full load.I spent all my summers on a fishing boat outside of Kenai AK.it is fun to think about it and some of the stuff that happened like getting boarded buy Russia Military after drifting in to there Waters after a storm. getting a glove snagged when letting net out and getting pulled over never been so cold in my life.watching a Nissan cargo ship ghost ride Nissan's over board and dropping containers over the side because they were going down.lots of cowboy stuff back then. my old man retired a few yrs back I had Manny chances to go back and make some money but after I was 21yrs old I wanted no part of it.allot of work no sleep verry dangerous the times that stick out were times that could have killed us all and there are allot of them when fishing in bad weather no sleep and the things people use to stay awake for 3 days at a time don't make for a OSHA approved work place.but verry exciting to say the least.
I have no idea why- but this really is my #1 favorite show. My husband thinks I'm insane. He enjoys it as well, but I admit I'm a bit obsessed. I can watch the marathons al day long. And yes, they're not much different- but I just can't get enough. I missed the opener b/c I was busy getting more confused on Lost. But I stayed up to watch the repeat at 11pm. Phil definitely does not look good. Seeing him here, it's not surprising what the final outcome is. Sad that he is gone. I loved the shove to Keith. He deserved it. But Jonathan was a bit too dramatic for me. And the deckhand swap of the 'Jakes' was great! Should be interesting to watch that play out. If I had to pick a boat to work on, it would be Time Bandit or CM. Jonathan & Andy are cool. Phil was. Sig is great, but he's kind of a slave driver

Just watched the entire season 6 on netflix. What a tear jerker. Gonna miss you Capt. Phil. Looking forward to this coming season. Now I moved on to 3rd season Ice Road truckers in Alaska. Lisa is far more entertaining than the beer gutted guys.

To me there is nothing better on tv then the guys on the Catch That show rules the Discovery Channel Period !!!! Can't wait for the next season in April and I am hoping Santa brings me the season 6 series under the tree . I've been very good this year

Too Funny. Actually they have several seasons. King crap, Oppelio, Blue crap, cod and not sure about any others. Those Craps go through a lot before hitting the processing boats or Dutch Island. I am amazed at how many actually live while in those tanks.
