Deerhaven - 1st time to Southern Big Horn, need some tips

We have about 9 of us planning a trip out to the southern part of Big Horn, and possibly staying at Deerhaven. Half of us have 121" tracks, the others 144-153". So we suspect the short tracks will need to get dug out a few times - what are we in for? We're thinking about staying at Deehaven, anyone have reviews etc of that place?
Also, do regular snowmobile helmets work just fine or is motorcross style prefered? - We might rent for 1 or 2 days to get a longer sled to enjoy some of the deeper stuff, but we're also on a budget... any help would be great!

Thanks!

don't know much about the southern big horns.I like the northern big horns around bear lodge. They have a nice mix of trails and alot of off trail riding. It would be a good area for both long and short tracks.
We were there the end of feb with 8 guys and had 2 136" 4 144" and 2 155"s. The 136's were only inch and a quarter lugs. We stayed at the lodge for around $30 a person.
As for helmets, some had modular, some regular, but most have motocross. All styles work fairly well though. Hope this helps.
