Diamond Drive reverse retro fit to REV-XP 800R

HI just a question regarding operation of a cat diamond drive to my rev-xp. it took alot of cutting and drilling but ive got it all done and it works alot better than the stock drive system IMO. Im just wondering what to do because when i start it normal Im in reverse and it goes backwARDS. so when i push the rer it then goes to forwards. why is it reversed like that and is it bad to run my motor backwards in order to go forwards? Also is there some way to turn off the beeping from the rer? I tried pushing the rer and the diamond drive reverse at the same time and it just dies real suddenly. any thoughts?

Put your ski's on the other end of the sled.

That set up is ment to be used south of the equator to run the other direction. You should have checked the Internet before doing the work

If your motor is truely running backwards to go forwards that is not going to work..You have made your Doo mad by puting Cat parts on it.

one would think a guy with the enginering skills to pull that one off would have no issue making it work

Did you get it to work? I'd recommend swapping the plug wires. Also, DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT run the sled unless the plugs are gapped to spec!

Be careful with this one. Timner is a cat guy, he doesn't realize that you CANNOT adjust the gap on SkiDoo NGK spark plugs!

I think the root cause of the problem might be your sled is rejecting the transplant organ...

i think the issue may be that your DD planet gear is "moon shaped" you need the "sun looking" gear...your tides are all out of wack when you pull the rope. if that doesnt work id just put the exhast on the intake side of the motor and intake where the exhaust was
