Poor winter here in ND and Northwest MN, our season total for snow is about 15 inches so far. It was my 50th year of riding snowmobiles though and I had a blast the 3 days I got to ride. I rode 2 times from home, a little trail riding but mostly river riding. My last ride we pulled the sleds about 45 miles and rode trails around northwest MN. Only 430 miles for the year but I had a great time. I did spend part of 14 days in three different groomers also.

just 550 miles this year over 2 weekends in DA UP. Lets see $350 in sled maintenance(4 smoke oil change & sliders, du pont only the best right Kip!). Ouch an expensive per mile year. LOL

Beats either working or planting my a-- on da couch all winter.

Enjoy your Spring Everyone!

500 miles not much for 1 season ...my wife would make me sell my Apex XTX with that little use. 4s costs way too high for that just oil & filter too much comaperd to 2s add oil as needed. Renting would be better deal for you....no worries no overhead. Low mile season or typical?

Not counting but my old posts where transferred during site transition didn't happen with everyone don't know why & numbers don't tell the the real site time. What seems like a lot in my case is because I have been here many years & never rolled over to zero. Yep I like to snowmobile a lot & hang with like minded peeps & understand not many out there really ride the big day miles like we do. To each his own but for me I'm 100% into my life's activities & encourage others as well but up to them in the end to find balance. Yes lake levels in Vilas are a concern at this time but who knows Spring & Summer could be very wet just have to see what evolves for pier & boats but heads up current levels are way down.

Two trips west. Very little Michigan riding. Work really got in the way this season. Boating season not looking good this coming season either.
