By chance did it say Peterbilt on the hood, and was it pulling a tri-axle trailer filled with about 75-80 oak logs? If so, I think
I saw him at a gas station too.

Its the latest thing this year. Rollin' coal on slower trail traffic if they don't pull over and get out of the way fast enough....

I ran 7/4 (desiel/gas) in a triple 800cat at a stop in Michigamme late in the season (they just switched that pump to Diesel and didn't switch to bigger nozzle) As long as RPM stayed above 6 grand, it ran. Under, I had to pull the choke. Luckily trail 8 has alot of strait stretches. Poor buddy behind me had troubles keeping up, visability. I did foul a plug
during low rpm, but kept running it. At the gas stop in Bruce, oil was dripping out of the exhaust. Sled had 8000 miles on it,, sold it with 16,500, never any engine work. (love those cat case reed)
Etec is a whole nother issue. If too much desiel, will not run cause not enough gas in mixure. (reason why pulling the choke in the 800T under 6000rpm kept it running)

Eeeeeeeeek. Thats a mistake. Don't think it would hurt it, but she had to running poor and smoking like a sun of a gun. Doesnt diesel fuel burn cooler than regular fuel? Im sure thats not the first time this has happend haha

Yes, and Diesel also has a higher flash point (similar to higher octane fuel)
