dinner thread

so a lot of my buddies tell me this is for old dudes...but I say.....NAY NAY.....we play these for dinner music on lightly in background....its very nice....have an open mind since it does involve new and old...electric and traditional....enjoy....we do...even as a family....the kids add theres too and we learn new stuff together....the only rule is.....RELAXING DINNER MUSIC...does anyone else...post up if ya gots...heres a starter one...I actually listen to this loud too its very good...

I like 'em all Tracker, especially Yo La Tengo. I enjoy listening to everything from (some) rap to Classical.....but NEVER any classic country or folk music.

no Cash no Nelson no Patsy Cline no hank Williams jr or sr no Loretta Lynn

I don't now but makes me chuckle when I was a kid both mom and dad did same thing every night at dinner no matter who's house I was at. I deff think it is a good idea to expand the horizon. but back then it was 1/2 of a album or a full reel to reel

OK ok you caught me embellishing...again! LOL!

There's some Patsy Cline, Hank Jr, J.Cash, Willie and others where a good song comes on by them I'll listen. But it is rare as unless there's a mixup, my Pandora, XM or iHeart aren't tuned into Classic Country.

well for one reason...and it seems those that ask aboot classic country at dinner...don't play music at dinner...since its very hard to find good dinner music in country....to see for yourselves...play that list above and then go into this....its nice...but out of place...especially background dinner music...that is why....Jamaican steel drum music doesn't qualify either...and so on...enjoy though

Dinner music?...oh I get it....nostalgia....I only recall ma and pa getting into arguments at the dinner table....lol

theres probably some good country dinner music...but I haven't heard it yet...if ya got some...post it up and I will tell you if it qualifies to play a PAPADEAUX's restaurant or WOLF GANG PUCKS restaurant....listen to it at dinner....and see if its enjoyable background music when you rtalking to your kids or wife.....IMO....it aint...but this is...totally different...I love all music....so bring it on dude...you want new...i'll give ya new..lets start here and get newer and newer then...enjoy

No, dude....not disagreeing with your dinner music....just saying it seems like something out of the distant past....pre-fast food
