Gotta love these late winters, when you pull into a gas station, or where ever, with sleds in tow, and the dirtly looks you get by people who want winter to end already.

To them, HAHAHA! Its about time we had a good WINTER in March!!

x3 Not getting the normal smiles and someone asking "where ya going". Just a off feeling.

I think some of the local UP workers are tired of us to. When a couple of us stopped in for lunch, the waitress was short with us. After a minor politeness infarction from my buddy, she went in to how she trains her kid and is going to do the same with him. He is hard of hearing so didn't catch it and was a little perplexed later when I told him what she said. I on the other hand found it attractive and left me wondering what I had to do to get spanked. We got to talking, she turned out to be a normal Yooper that was kind and would give anyone a helping hand. My family and I will be visiting her at her place of business this summer.

Anywho, the trails are the best they have been all year and with no traffic this is the time to be UP there. Just remember to say please, thank you and you will get the same in return.

The people at work are all complaining about how it's suppose to be spring and there is no place to push the snow...

I'm loving it!

I pulled up to the pumps ON my sled just a while ago,...
The man at the pump next to me say's "Don't ya wish you were filling up the BIKE intstead?"
I smiled and said,..."NOPE"
For once locally,.... We had a GREAT snow season (late,... but better late than none!)

Get Your Trail On!

I live in Indianapolis, and I used to get a lot when I kept my sled down here. I had a couple trips in March when I left it was well in the 50's down here but great conditions up North. People down here hardly know what a snowmobile is anyway, so it's strange to them when I'm pulling the sleds around and they're thinking more about golf or running outside.

This weekend is the Lake Geneva snow cross...last year it was 80 degrees for the races and they opened the golf course. It was aweosme seeing all the yuppie golfers walking into the bar there and seeing all the average joe snowmobile fans having a good time. Needless to say we out numbered them

Had a large group of us pull in a gas station by Bessemer and an old boy shook his fist at us and said "You're the reason gas prices are soo high"
Gotta love Seniors!
