High performance Power valves as compared to regular power valves? post a link to this one please??? Your sled is on the line of having or not having VES. My 01 800 did not and my 02 800 did. Are you asking about something aftermarket??

never heard of high performance power valves. He may be meaning stainless or Titanium as opposed to the aluminum valves that came out in the beginning.

i got these so called high performance valves. I am assuming they are what people call the 3 reed v force valves because the name simply describes what they look like. are these valves better? should i put these in my sled or will they even fit?

thanks for the info

I am so lost. Are we talking about reeds or powervalves?

i have power valves on my sled right now and my dads buddy gave me reed v force valves because he said that those are supposedly better performance wise... is there any truth to this

Vforce 3 Reeds are just that, reeds. Powervalves are on the other side of the motor. Polaris is the only one who makes powervalves for polaris sleds. Vforce reeds are good for a horsepower or 2, but if you don't know the difference between these 2 things I don't know if you can install them yourself... Sorry...

I am not a Polaris owner. They work well on Yamaha s provided the person you buy the sled from cleans them so the cables don't pull through the ends. Haha.

Polaris powervalves aren't cable operated so there :p LOL

No they are not. They also are not found on the finest triple ever put in a snowmobile. In fact, the connecting rods in Yamaha's 700 triple are so strong they used left overs and broken shovel handles to build the rear suspension.
