After reading this I checked out Polaris West Yellowstone just for the heck of it and lo and behold they had a handy dandy package calculator and, just to get a rough idea as a point of reference I plugged this in... its 4 sleds for two days, 1 room for 3 nights...

So 394.25 (plus some change after tax) per person

This sounded too good to be true. Then it dawned on me the nearest regional airport would still be Jackson at ~120 miles. Sucks

So I guess Ill have to call Tog (or Aramark?) and see how they compare. Would be sweet if they were. I wish more places had calculators like this. Kinda makes it handy.

Nearest airport is Bozeman, Montana, 90 miles away. There is a shuttle bus that takes you directly from the airport to the town of West Yellowstone for approx $40

With Moms your package price includes lodging and FOOD. $75 per night at a couple of locations. Plus, Moms can haul your sled and gear. If you plan on flying in and renting, we get group discounts extended to us at a number of locations....

Place to go out West

I don't know if you have made your plans yet. I realize you posted this earlier. I am new to this website. Have you checked out Beaver Creek Lodge in Logan canyon utah? www.beavercreeklodge.com. They get new Ski Doo snowmobiles every year. They have been in the business for a while.

Not only do they have top of the line snowmobiles. They also rent KLIM gear for the snowmobile clothing. The guides are awesome!! When you get a guide they take your own group out. I believe that at Tog they combine groups. The price for the guide is $350 per day no matter how big your group is.

The 3night package is only $649 per person Monday - Thursday. Weekend prices are a little higher. If you stay consecutive nights they will rent snowmobiles to you on Sunday. The package includes lodging for three nights, 2 all day snowmobile rentals, fuel, helmet, breakfast each morning and dinner two evenings.

You can't go wrong. If you would like more information on this place let me know.

We travelled to Togwotee three years ago and had a blast. Guides were OK (hungover) so we went with others last two days we met in lodge and they showed us some awesome places to ride. Three days of Mountain riding was exhausting for us FLATLANDERS. We will go again this year. We all ride short tracks so taking our own is not a viable option. Driving is 18 hours plus weather so we will fly in again. total costs breakdown.

463.50 airfare Duluth to Jackson
497.25 full winter package three in cabin
618.00 sled rental, beacon, and insurance

less than $1600 per person for three days riding four nights lodging includes all meals except lunches. If you are flying in and renting their all inclusive is the way to go. I looked at all other places to stay around Jackson Hole and the cost is very close if not higher. Driving would cut 250-300 per person. You work hard all year to ride spend a couple bucks every three years and travel out west. We love riding in DA UP, but enjoy the thrill of mountain riding once in a while. my two cents.

I would if I owned Beaver Creek Lodge. I just heard alot of bad things on here about Tog. So, I thought that I would reccommend another place. I had a great experience at Beaver Creek Lodge and thought others would like to too!
