Downtown Minneapolis

Were heading over to Minneapolis for the Supercross at the Metrodome in April and looking for any suggestions, I know there is some John Dee ers over that way. Mainly if there are hotels in walking distance or short cab from an entertainment district? Bars/restaurants type thing. I havent been over there in a long time and just want to end up in a good spot if possible. Thanks!

The Dome is on the lightrail line, from one end to the other you will have everything.
1st Av to the MOA

Stay somewhere along it

I had dinner, at Manny's Friday night. Make reservation ASAP.
Arrive hungry, skip the bread basket, the Bone in Filet is A+.
This place is not for everybody, leave the kids.
See the menu on the website.
Don't forget the 10.75% sale tax on food, 13.25% on booze.
Nice place, if someone is buying.

I am a http://www.murraysrestaurant.com/ guy my self love the butter knife steak Love Mannys also. but who does a 100 bucks a plate nite for super cross?
the depot is close nice place bit more high end is Graves hotel I wont stay there for political reasons but nice place. any place on light rail line is fine. I rarely go down town for entertainment any more.

The Blue Door, tough to get into.
Seeing 15 people trying to get into the door, turns me off.
Not walking distance either.
One day in Mpls, will allow you to appreciate your home.
