Going up to Marquette with the wife on Tuesday evening no matter what. If we have to trailer out towards Big Bay we will. We were going to saddlebag over to Christmas on Thursday and return on Friday, that may be in question now. Only time I have left to ride this year as I go to Mexico on business on the 15th for two weeks.......damn temps!!!!!

Think spring has arrived in central Mn 55 today and probably 60 later this week.
Confirmation of spring for me, boss called this AM, back to work this week. Probability of full week next week.

yall thought I was going nuts when I posted this last week...

Yep you were only off by 10 days + for northern WI. ...LOL.... Your post on 27th 10 days ago and was very cold all during 10 day period.... warm up starts this week. Lots of riding in last 10 days and will continue at least to midweek maybe longer. May have been different in other areas but not here.

Switch07: MEXICO? (on business?) you lucky dog! So you take the wife Sledding? (just poking at ya bro!)
:)
Tuesday looks like the Warmest,..... If it is going to be in the low to mid 50's Here,... probably going to
be in the upper 40's for sure,... but you will have plenty of mashed potato's to play in!
Might have some puddles if you're saddlebagging,....
I'd be thinking too much about Mexico Senior~ !!! Have Fun!
PICTURES!
(uh,...maybe that wouldn't be a good idea,...)

Vin,
Yeah I'm a lucky dog alright, a hot dirty stinking paper mill in Mexico is no vacation, lol. But it does pay for the toys quite well. And as far as the wife goes and taking her sledding, heck she's got a new Viper to ride and she loves it......especially if the trail goes by a casino, lol. We will make the best of it and ride where we can. Hoping to turn 3k on my Viper before I put it to bed for the summer.

I laugh at this. The last time I traveled to Mexico for business everyone thought I was so lucky. Most people think of beaches and drinks with little unbrellas in them. My trip was far from that. I had an armed guard with me the whole time because it was so dangerous. Not a vacation by any means!

Just got back last night from the Keweenaw. We rode from Paulding to Copper Harbor on Sunday and back down yesterday. Sunday was a great ride with flat and smooth trails for the most part. Yesterday was very warm especially by afternoon. It was rough going through Houghton/Hancock but the rest was fine until we got down to around Bruce and then some bare spots and water started showing up on 8 and 3. It was a great last ride of the season.

Sounds like a Great final ride! I love the ones where you can pretty much wear sweatshirts,..
and still put in a full day on nice trails!
49 here at 10:45am with the next 10 days looking all in the mid 50's or higher (according to the
local weather comedians) This time they might be right.
Tell ya one thing,... you can tell by peoples faces,... they needed the sun and warmer temps,...
It is literally as if they are coming out of a cocoon or something,....seems everywhere ya go,..
from Menards to the Grocery store, everybody has a "Spring" in their step.
Guess it's time.

I walked out of work in Duluth yesterday and it was 56. Gorgeous! Got home and got one sled all greased up and summerized, gonna try to get a couple more done tonight. If it does get ridable again it's easy enough to pull them out of the trailer but I think it's toast up here.
