How many miles can you get out of a drive clutch on a 2007 AC Crossfire 8. I have 6200 and it still is working. Just wondering how many miles people are getting out of these. I useually just bolt a new one on when it goes bad.

you should replace the clutch spring every 2k miles, it depends on if you want full performance or if you just want it to work properly, and a lot of it depends on if it was aligned right and how hard of a rider are you and so on. But you should probably do something to it before this winter.

I have about 7800 on a 07 F6 ( 6 post ). Do you have a 6 post ? The dealer had AC " Good Will " me a new 1 during the 1st season so those miles are a little less on this clutch. It is our back-up machine but runs & shifts OK . It has been tested by my elite crew of sled beaters ( kids ) Yes technically you should replace the springs in both clutches every year ( in some circles ). I pull them off , check for broke stuff, extreme wear on the components, broke set screws on the weights ect... and blow them out with air. If it starts making the " skidoo-death throb " sound you might want to have it gone thru. Clutches are getting expensive nowadays ( IMO ).
