Wouldn't that be nice. Wonder where they came up with this? Seems a bit early for this type of prediction. One can dream though!

Fargo and Minneapolis to Green Bay will also receive above-normal winter snowfall. Other cities predicted to receive above-normal winter snowfall include Chicago, Omaha, Minneapolis, Detroit, Cleveland, Seattle and Portland.

NO El Nino this year. Looks like a moderate La Nina!!!

The NWS corroborates to a certain extent...heavier than normal precip in December/Jan/Feb (can I get in trouble for saying that here?)

I don't trust weather men I go for what the squirrels are doing and a thing called a wolly worm if its got more black on it it will be a bad winter So far the squirrels are gathering up alot of nuts :D Have not seen my worm yet :( Also got to take it day by day on this they forecast alot of hurricanes this year and it's been a slow one on that THANK GOD the best weather man or woman is yourself Look out the window and whalla you can see the forecast with your own eyes !!! :D Walking on SUNSHINE today temps high near 79 here with a 20 % chance of rain in Ohio :)

Thats a great forecast, especially while I sit here this morning seeing the next 5 days + being in the 90's around Chicago. Fall and Winter can't get here soon enough for me!
