April closed out, and May started out cold and wet last year. Not that it means anything, and I can't do anything with this tilt. But, too much tilt while playing pinball, game over?????????????? I say so what!!!!!!!!

This is all well and good. HOWEVER if this is the cause (tilt of Earth on its axis) it would shift SO SLOWLY

you would be incorrect...here is how much tilt it has done since 1610...then there is another one only showing maybe 30 years....and it has moved from that 2010 position GREATLY since then....so yes...YOU....have seen it personally...and its due for a pole shift...that's why all this is happening....ever 750,000 years the poles switch...like clockwork....and we are at 749,999...roughly

they are off a tad on info...it recently got changed to 780,000 and 450,000 so as not to scare public....with these numbers its way off our lifetimes....with 750,000...its happening now....how do I know this...and you can look it up yourselves to double check me...its called the magnetic reversal in rocks...basically its like this...there is a mountain out west which 1 billion years of strata is visible....and when lava roars out and hardens the iron ore and liquid metals ALL ORIENTATE TOWARDS MAGNETIC NORTH AT THE TIME OF HARDENING....and in the strata....it is clearly visible that the ore turns north and then south almost exactly every 750,000 years....and then theres this quote from the link I provide

The latest one, the Brunhes–Matuyama reversal, occurred 780,000 years ago, and may have happened very quickly, within a human lifetime

with all that in mind whilst ya all read.....have a listen to this in the background...LEON BABAY...crank it...ole school

So now your talking about magnetic pole reversal and that has to do with axis tilt, or seasons being out of sync by 2 months HOW
YOU SIR ARE A NUT CASE!
I'M OUT SEE YA

because a slight angle variance as is now...say maybe 1/2 a degree...causes weather extremes due to wind current alterations from the norm....I think you expect me to say it is a major change in degrees....its not....its ever so slightly to effect seasons a tad....for what you want it to change like the sun and moon positions....it would have to be a pole shift or over 20 degrees...and then you could forget aboot the whole conversation as it would be way more than 2 months off....and FYI...its ROUGHLY 2 months off...again...I have always stated that it is slightly off so that we sledders will be able to extend our riding season...you do know that's why I post this info at this time so readers can keep the sleds at the ready for these storms now coming that are many threads on here aboot this very event...only most are like....will it happen john....is it possible john.....whats the forecast like next week john....save your self some agony and john having to post the same info 100 times....what part of a bonus on sledding don't you understand....and you can see and feel it happening.....or maybe you cant but the rest of us can...I dunno....your definitely taking all this to the extremes and I am suggesting minor fluctuations in our seasons....until the pole shift happens.....does that help on number 1?

So you think that a very slight change in earth's tilt, over thousands of years, has suddenly caused winter to be delayed by two months, even though it's not even enough to change the time of sunrise and sunset? Even though this winter started at the normal time? I have nothing to say except LMAO.

Like Sweeper said, you don't even understand the difference between earth's axis and magnetic poles. The poles are shifting away from the axis, not shifting with the axis. This is like discussing calculus with someone who hasn't learned to add and subtract. I'm out, too.

no....I am saying that the tilt that happened about 7 years ago caused the earth to be out by 2 months....the other stuff shows you all how its been happening over and over and over for thousands of years...had to show you that since you wouldn't believe me if I just said that happened.....you guys read way too much into this...you want I should simplify it again for the 1000 time

its like this.....there was an event and series of events that tilted the earth recently....in geologic terms recently....that tilt effected our seasons as we had known them to be for a long time....it knocked out the seasons by 2 friggin' months....how hard is that to understand Copernicus's....and it will be a roller coaster ride of snow and cold and what was once summer and winter will now be different....just trying to save you ID10Ts from asking john if its gonna snow and can we still ride....for the 20,000 time.....yes it will snow...until may or june...since its off by 2 seasons KRAMERS...capeesh....holy cripes....one of you should change your screen name to GRANITE HEAD....LMAO

He's got to be trolling. I realize that he lives down south in Indiana, but he must know that we were snowmobiling and ice fishing in December this winter, which by his logic shouldn't have happened until February. And last year we were also snowmobiling in December, and boating/kayaking in April. Nothing is "out of sync" by two months. I don't understand why a forum member would want everyone to think he is brain damaged, but apparently that is Tracker's goal. Mission accomplished, Tracker.

W/O the long winded quotes [sure would be nice if they collapsed down]-- : Hence the sunset/sunrise change being questioned for an earth tilt would not be a notable event. 8:29 or 8:31 who would really notice.

If the time of sunrise only shifted by two minutes, that would obviously not be enough to delay seasons by two months. For seasons to change by two months, we would need a very noticeable change in the amount of daylight. It also wouldn't delay the start and end of winter by two months. If earth shifted on it's axis enough to change our seasons, it would either shorten winter by roughly equal amounts at the beginning and end, or it would lengthen the season equally at start and finish (depending on which way it tilted). Does Alaska's winter start two months earlier than ours, and end at the same time as ours? Of course not. It starts earlier and ends later.

And some people would notice even a minute or two of daylight. NASA tracks things like that very closely. Even the weather channel posts time of sunrise and sunset every day.
