I wish I could agree, but "collapsing" is way too strong a word to use at this point. It may have peaked and be in the process of weakening, but is not doing so at a rapid pace...at least not yet. Even if it did collapse, it is so strong, it would probably take at least 45-60 days to complete such a collapse and would be too late to turn around this winter for us.
I still believe that there will be a period of cold and snow this winter, sometime in Jan or Feb. It may only be 2, possibly 3 weeks long and we will all have to make the most of it.
