Electronic Display "Bouncing" - '08 Polaris Switchback

The electronic display on my '08 Polaris is "bouncing" - meaning the speed value bounces up and down even when sitting still. I'm guessing a loose connector or bad ground or something along those lines. Posting for pointers before I spend too much time chasing the wrong thing. Thanks in advance JDers.

indy_500 - seemed to work (display speed) at higher speeds but if I recall correctly it "bounced" at lower speeds. It's never done this since I've owned the sled.

vx700xtc - I haven't started to troubleshoot yet, thought I'd post first and maybe someone has already troubleshot and fixed this problem.

I would suspect the speed sensor is shot. It not uncommon, it happens with a few (all mfg) & not an "expensive" fix.-Mezz

I had a 06 fusion that did the same thing, on the digital display it would jump from 0 up to 100+ mph when sitting still. It ended up being a bad speed sensor. Replaced it and all was good. I think it was only 60-70 bucks from the dealer.

Wonder if it's related to the original problem:

2012 Polaris Switchback 800 Fuel display is inaccurate and will disappear completely when moving. Any suggestions?
