engine swap question

All,
Last spring I put a 2011 Polaris 600 engine into my sons 2010 600. My son has been riding it the last couple of days and it saying it doesn't idle sometimes, will just quit, and he has to hold the throttle open to start it. I didn't change ECU or anything. Does anybody know if the ECU would be programmed differently or would that cause anything? Or what else it might be? I was thinking maybe fuel filter?

Need to adjust cable slack on flipper. Throtle overide switch maybe.

X2 the throttle lever needs some free play before in “engages” and starts pulling the cable. If it’s too tight it will do as described.

i will check tomorrow. I also noticed that its burning a tremendous amount of oil. He filled it yesterday and between yesterday and today he's rode about 80 miles and its flashing and is almost empty. I'll have to dial that back also.
