At this point, I have to agree with them. It's time to get the golf courses open! :)

As long as it's here i'll be riding this weekend. Maybe not far but just crusing around where i can. I have to get an ATV map so i can be sure. Saw a news forecast chart that has up to 16 inches for me by friday.

Probably be there right with ya! :) We are thinking of leaving this evening instead of tomorrow morning. Looks like it will get NASTY tomorrow! See ya on Saturday for a "cruise" with Dave n Lori? 12-18 inches in a day in April! Might be one H**L of a way to send Ma nature into thaw mode.

Just can't get crap done! Wood pile buried can't split wood, no lawn work buried in 15"+ of snow, pier dry docked due to lake ice, garage a mess but no use hosing out until I can get lawn & deck funiture out, gas grill buried in there with mowers & Ranger but snowblower still out... lol..... all Spring life on hold for maybe 2-3 more weeks. Time to move on but suppose to snow again tonight very cold & snowy April. I have to laugh with all the paint & stain sales going on no one can start on that until mid 50s & can't even get to 50 so far.

Kind of disturbing what they did to a Kruppy relative.. In Waconia we are expecting another 6"+ Just enough to run the new SBA I got a few more miles this weekend in the back 40. I am going to need to get more oil though.

wussies? I think I might be offended.

Is it illegal to ride a sled down 694? After all, it is motorized. Looking outside, I'm pretty sure I could do it tomorrow. It's snowing sideways.

Whitey....what we gunna do with you?

Remember LAST spring when it was 80 degrees and sledding went away in late February? Remember how HOT it was and how everyone who had sleds barely got to use them? Remember NOT using the snow blower at all? Remember how you got your chrome dome sun-burned because you didn't wear your hat? Do you remember how many times you had to use the mower, sharpen the blades and mow and mow and mow....so hot out that you nearly got heat stroke?

Bugs the size of chickens, cranky people who got into accidents because their tempers were as hot at the weather?

Sled sales in the dumpster, parts sales in the dumpster....tourist biz in the dumpster....

In contrast, this winter....lawn mower is still in mothballs....hose still frozen solid....no bugs...NONE! Sled sales UP, parts sales up more...tourists still riding in the snow belts....and NO serious sledder can say that they didn't have epic year to ride.

The ONLY down side is how the snow is probably putt'n the hurt on the deer in dah U.P.

Get the yamahopper out and do some riding....tell your wife that you have saved enough on NOT spending at Home Depot so far and lawn maint. to afford 3 more trips....then take the snow bungie and suck it in. Enjoy the extra ride time and if you can't do all this, then jump in the Ford and drive south where they are in the 80's already, mowing, swatting and sweating!

Just ride and build memories of the late winter of 2013. Lawn furniture can wait!

Hey, we just got 6 inches.... of rain in 24 hours. Would much rather the snow than helping out neighbors with flooded basements. On a side note, we have many people being evacuated due to flooding rivers. Remember, if you build your house in a FLOODPLAIN, you just might get flooded from time to time. And, if you drive your car through 4 feet of water and get stuck, well I will not even post what I want to say.
