Watching the video from Lake Gogebic reminded me of a company just down the road in Oshkosh, Wisconsin that retrieves sunken vehicles. Here's a link to their promo showing two vehicles, one in shallow water, the other in deep. I believe that the video was recorded on Lake Winnebago and it shows the equipment and procedure for getting vehicles out of a frozen lake.
