EVS SV1 Trail Protective Snow Vest Opinions and Sizing Questions

I am thinking of getting a protective riding vest and am considering an EVS SV1 Trail Protective Snow vest. I can find them for about $145-$180 which seems like a pretty good value. http://evs-sports.com/store/product.php?productid=17673&cat=266&page=1

Do any of you have this vest? If so, how do you like it? Also I wondering how they run for sizing. They indicate the Medium/Large is for 125 to 175 lbs and the XL/XXL is for 175 lbs and up. I am right at about 175 lbs...maybe pushing 180 lbs after Christmas. For anyone who has one, just wondering how the sizing runs. Any opinions on the vest would be appreciated. Thanks

I cant help you on that vest, but I wear a Tekvest in size Large. It fits well and Im 6'2 and about 200 pounds. I actually had my vest come into use one time when i hit a big branch overhanging the trail. Never saw it until it was too late and a pointy branch hit me right in the chest. Luckily it didnt knock me off the sled but the vest was torn and a big dent in the protective layer. If I wasnt wearing it the body damage would have been much worse. I wear one all the time. It wont help in a big 60 mph into a tree but its worth the investment IMO. Good luck!
