im looking to get a little more crack out of this stock exhaust.i cant seem to find an aftermarket can for this machine.im looking to modify the stock can somehow,or maybe go with something homemade.straight pipe maybe.the sled is in great shape with only 1222 miles on it.its got some aftermarket parts(shocks, hndl bar riser, throttle cable extension, etc.)installed already.I love this machine, and am getting tired of being told that if i want more noise, that i have to buy a new sled.If anybody has some ideas, please let me know. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Get about 5 to 6 feet of flex pipe and a hose clamp. Attach the pipe to the exhaust outlet with the clamp. Now take the other end of the pipe and route it under your helmet. You may need to duct tape around the helmet area to get maximum volume.

Seriously... why do you want it to be loud? You live in a state that has tough laws against exhaust mods. I don't understand what your goal is here?

aaen was making pipes for the older FC cats. just because it is loud dosent make it fast.and just adding a pice of pipe wont do the job you still need a bit of back pressure.save the money from a can and get your head shaved put in a timing key play with your clutching and jets things that realy make HP you could doo all above for under 250 and make your buds shut thear pie holes.the pipe on that sled is alredy a good tuned pipe cappable of handeling some heavy mods like porting

well the answer is simple jebjk1.80% of my riding is done on 200 acres of private land.where else can you build jumps, and hold drags with friends, without messing with somebodys property or having noise complaints? I do understand your point, and this was considered before proceeding to post my question.Thank you for taking the time to read it.
