exhaust replacement

Can I buy any tuned exhaust for 2005 xc/sp 500? I'm needing a replacement that goes into the can, from the y-pipe. I'm looking for stock. The end is breaking off and i'm wondering if any polaris exhaust will work. They all look the same, I know I have to make sure it will fit with the bracket that supports it going into the can. Just wondering if they did anything different to the inside of them based on size? Does any one know exactly what years and sizes will fit my sled? Thanks again for all your help?

According to the Polaris website, your tuned pipe PN 1261064 also fits 2001 thru 2007 500 XC 500's. Also a 2003-2007 XC 600. So, look for one from one of those sleds as well. There are lots of used ones out there. You'll find one cheap.

Make sure to buy the right one. It will run and not blow up with the wrong pipe, but you will notice the difference.
