Expensive crazy weekend

So, the weekend started off great. We beat the storm up North, unloaded the new sled in the garage just as the storm hit! Saturday picked up the Rush from the shop while loading it into the back of the truck forgot that it had studs and tore the tailgate up! Wife = ! Saturday early out the door for a long ride, (Brother, me, & my 2 daughters) 10 minutes into it, my daughter runs my 700xc into a tree dead center! bashed out the dent, bumper cracked in half! Back on the trail going to breakfast (and a drink)! Back on the trail 15 minutes came upon a dead coyote two sled coming the other way hit as it darted out on the trail! Back on the trail two hours later same daughter hits another tree, this time since there isn't a bumper anymore crushed the muffler, hood over the handlebar! Ahhhhhhhhg! It must have been the adrenaline pulled the hood up kicked the hood bracket out so the hood would close, started the engine and milked it home! Took several Brandy's to get over the day! My Brother and I look at the damage, laughed, he said, looks like we have another summer project! I love snowmobiling, can't wait for next weekend!! Happy trails!

this time of season , it starts to take its toll . just blew my rear shock and it doesnt taste good at all! LOL

You most not change your shock oil enough it should never taste bad.

Rush, I feel the same way... went out rideing Saturday, sled was running sweet, was about 1/2 mile from getting home and it just shut down. Went to pull rope and she was Tight. Time for a major overhaul.. I hope it warms up to 70 very soon.

I here ya Rush, hit a tree Saturday with my new sled,only had it for 6 weeks and I think it will be totaled. Waiting on insurance adjuster.

lol, you don't have to worry~ your not a tree! LOL! And yes the bottom line is that I can replace a sled, can't replaced my daughter.

That doesn't look cheap! Where is a good place to shop for used parts. Priced out the damage on Babbitt's, $250 plus the muffler.
