f1100 speedo and guage.

I have a 2012 f1100 with a premium guage. Was riding last week and it quit working. Took the hood all apart to check wires for mouse maybe biting through, but looks okay.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had a problem with these and what you did? Can they be tested, or just get a new one?

not sure how to test but if anyone knows how to test or re flash it it would be .

if it is junk think real hard about upgrading to the full pimped out NS1 gauge system.

Thanks for the reply Ezra, turned out to be tail light wire was rubbed through up by the gas tank.

that's cat for u why run wire in a thick loom that would cost a extra 4 bucks or why put a pre Loctite bolt in when attaching ground wires we are at a penny there . most of the issues I have had with cat have been wiring related
