Fast Colors?

It might be a quick fall. Yesterday morning I took the dogs for a walk, and it was dead calm, but it sounded like rain with the leaves falling. Very strange. Maybe it was the hard frost we had the last 2 nights?

Here are some pictures of the leaves falling, like I said it was pretty strange - never seen anything like it before - usually the leaves come down like crazy on windy days, but I guess today was the day for these trees!

Today went by the same trees, and everything was gone (sorry for the bad picture, it was a little dark out still for my camera phone).

This is in SE Wisconsin, but there are still plenty of trees that are still green...

I was in the Twin Cities this weekend, and they are about 2 weeks behind on the colors. But with the hard frost Saturday morning (actually it snowed), there were Ash and Maple trees all over my kids neighborhood where the leaves fell off GREEN the next day. Strangest thing I've seen in quite a while.

my yard went from green to white last night kinda like my cat busting pow.I was in western MN SD border this weekend about 1/2 leaves off the trees metro MN fall color was about 4 days and week at that with last nights and this afternoons wet snow alot of trees well be leafless this week
