I gotta say Anderson Silva has been ultra impressive, although Chael Sonnen is capable if he thought it through a bit better. Both Diaz brothers are incredible. Jones at 205 is a machine. Looks like A. Silva is fighting in light heavyweight UFC 153 against Bonner, could we possible see a Anderson Silva Jon Jones fight someday, that would be a fight for everyone to see.

My favorites:

Donald Cerrone
Nick Diaz
Nate Diaz
Anderson Silva
Jon Jones
Vitor Belfort
George St Pier
Forest Griffin
Demetrious "mightymouse" Johnson,,,fastest man alive

no doubt Chuck was a rush to watch. It is so amazing to see how the sport has evolved and how critical multiple arts for a single fighter has become the norm and the ultimate advantage. As the fighter get older the first thing to go seems to be the ability to take a punch. You would think the speed would be first and probably is to some extent but Chuck hit the canvas like a bag of bricks in his last few fights. That's what is so astonishing about the "Cowboy" Cerrone, both Diaz's, Forest, they can take some serious punishment. Chris Leban had a seriously tuff chin. By the way, where is Chris these days?

I found this on line about Leben.

On November 28, 2011, Zuffa LLC, owner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, released information stating that Leben tested positive for oxycodone and oxymorphone following his loss to Muñoz at UFC 138. As a result of the positive test, Leben will be suspended from fighting for 1 year.[SUP][18][/SUP]

Leben's return fight is scheduled to take place on December 29, 2012 at UFC 155 against Karlos Vemola.[SUP][19][/SUP]

Anderson Silva is a man among boys takes them lights out with a ultra fast jab pin point perfectly placed on the chin. Wham over! Anderson is getting older & MMA UFC is not kind to old men. Currently Anderson Silva is the best MMA fighter regardless of weight class. 1 round to feel you out next round lights out!

Jon Jones, George St Pier the rest of the best of your list. Jon Bones Jones could be great but needs better competition to prove he is a great 1. On the other hand Anderson Silva walked thru all comers bar none that man is a great MMA fighter! Hands & feet so fast you blink & it is over.

I don't know about that as far as Jones's competition. He beat very good fighters such as Vitor Belfort, Rashad Evens, Lyoto Machida, Quinton Jackson, Mauricio Rua, Ryan Bader, Brandon Vera.

Showgun is an incredible fighter but the Dragon Machida is the same level as Anderson,,, and so is Vitor,,,,almost.

Jones has accomplished a great deal and is a young man 10 years younger than Anderson. Who knows where this guy is going.

If Chael picked Anderson apart as good as he did In 1, I believe Machida, Belfort could be same quailty as Chael and therefor capable of winning on a good night against but Jones still stomps them.

Check this out and tell me Sonnen didn't dominate. Yea, he made a mistake and lost the fight but you know he is capable of being the champion. I wanna see Sonnen Silva 3

I'd like to see Hendo fight the Dragon and than the winner gets a bid at title again with Jones. Machida did give Jones some competition. On another note comparing the Spider to Bones, the Spider have poor take down defenses compared to Jones but still has incredible take down defenses,,,if that makes any sense. The reason I say this is because Chael tllk down the Spider with easy and stomped him but still lost. Bones Jones does not go down. Hendo has major stand up and still strong take down Jones and hendo would be the next 205 fight to see but than again lets see what Hendo can do against the dragon

If I were pressed to give an opinion about a fight with a healthy Spider and Bones, I'd take Bones all day. Now that's because Bones is an unreal wrestler and with that being said,,,, He will take the Spider down easier than Chael Sonnen did. If Bones gets you down it's over!

Liked watching Lyoto Machida, Quinton Jackson, Mauricio Rua but all on the way down now but had their day. Chael Sonnen did well in the Silva match but in the end got choked out by a triangle & would have gone to sleep if he didn't tap out. I'm not sure how good Chael Sonnen really is his record has 11 losses & he does mouth off a lot too. I think Jon Bones Jones would knock him out when he got on top. Jon Bones Jones has a big frame & could easily move up to heavyweight. Sliva is a better middle weight but no one would fight him in that weight class. Sliva's body of work is domination no one has come close to what he has done so far. Unfortunately age is starting to be a problem for him.

Silva is not all that fast, not slow by any means but speed is not his greatest asset. Accuracy, versatility, athleticism, patients, power,,all it that order is how I see Anderson Silva. His take down defense is rather poor. 3 guys have had good success taking him down. If he had sick wrestling skills he would be a MMA god. Silva does not want to go against Jones and Silva has fought in the 205 class but you wont see him there for some time again,,,maybe if Jones looses than Silva would step up for a battle Regardless,,both Jones and Silva are class acts and deserve every bit if success they have earned.

Bonnar is fighting Silva tomorrow and will likely loose but crazier things have happened but it would be a big upset if that did indeed happen. I didn't believe Bonnar has the skill to defeat Silva but he has the heart and that sometimes brings out the lion in a man. I say Silva in the 2nd round with a ground and pound knock out

I think Sonnen weathered the choke but he sat down and the triangle turned into an arm bar. His arm was being tweaked big time.

The American Psycho will come out swinging & who knows maybe he will land a hard one early? Bonnar tires as the match gets into the championship rounds so later rounds not a good place for him. Bonnar cuts & bleeds so will be lots of blood Anderson will land stand up & kicks Bonnar going to be right there to hit. Maybe Anderson will break his hand on Bonnars face & have to use elbows. If you like blood you will love this fight.lol I favor Anderson Silva in this one would not pay to see it.

Bonnar gets the chance to fight him because who else is better than Bonnar at getting beat up?? Bonnar can take a beating like no one else. He doesnt stand a chance in he!! of winning, save for an injury to the spider. But people want to see an a$$whoopin and Bonnar is perfect for it.

it's neat to see the evolution of Anderson as he is not all that impressive in the older fights where he looses. He has really developed to be the world champ he is. I believe Jones is a natural. Yea, we see the evolution in him also but his game is way above the league and all before he was 25, Anderson didn't do that now did he! Jones is 7 years ahead of the pack and started late when Silva has been fighting for ever. Here is a quote from Wiki:

Silva first began training Jiu Jitsu with neighborhood kids who could afford lessons. He explained his introduction to martial arts in an interview with FIGHT! Magazine: “When I started out, Jiu-Jitsu was really an elite thing in Brazil, and there was some prejudice towards poorer kids, so I had to learn things on my own... Some of my neighbors started doing Jiu-Jitsu, so I started watching it, and then started rolling with them. It wasn’t organized training, but it was better than nothing.” By the age of twelve his family was able to set aside enough money to start him in Tae Kwon Do lessons, from which he moved on to Capoeira, before finally settling on Muay Thai at the age of sixteen.
[SUP][14][/SUP]
Before he began his career as a professional fighter, Silva worked at McDonalds, and also as a file clerk. He also considers Spider-Man a personal hero, and has a stated love of comic books and comic book heroes.[SUP][15]

[/SUP]
[SUP]I'm not in the least trying to detract from Silva, he is a champion and a real humble modest man and one of the best fighters of all time![/SUP]
