Most of the sleds that are made now are great. I've been sledding since the 70's and have had all the bad ones; the ones that blew up, the one that caught on fire, the ones that had no suspension, the one that used pre-mix with a 2 gallon tank, the one that had a 35 mile range, the old ski doo smell, the one that ate plugs and belts, the one that ate clutch buttons, etc. Now, I turn the key and go. If I go too far, I put it in reverse and back up. It is becoming increasingly important to get back to lodging before dark and enjoy the mandatory hot tub and cocktail. The sled I have now is great for what I want to do and I love snowmobiling.
