Favorite sled you've ever owned?

Since the first sled thread went over well and we're not doing politics anymore. (Thank God) What was your favorite sled you've ever owned? I know it's going to sound crazy but for me. It's the one I own now. 2015 summit X 800 154". It's just so incredibly versatile. With all of the Linq accessories I can go from backwoods bashing with the boys to trail riding with the family 2up cruiser style snapidy snap. It it does both very well.

97 Formula III. I'm sure if i rode it now I would change my mind, but it was my first nice larger HP sled. I Owned it in a carefree time when I did not have many responsibilities and neither did my buddies. Those were the days when it snowed we would all leave early from work and meet up, and also usually ride until 3 AM and somehow were able to still get up for work the next day. These were also the days right after High school when you would meet up and ride with people that you never even talked to in school. It also helped that the trails were open a little more here in S WI.

So far, I think it would be the 2010 M8. Stunk on the trails, but was awesome in the bush.

Had a 2011 F8 EXT that just plain worked. Most of the time I rode trails with some real junk under the track. It took a couple of minor tweaks to get it almost perfect.
It's almost funny that people were never fan of the looks. It was a great riding, running sled, that was warm, and had room for the gear. Seemed like I could just ride and ride on that thing.
I usually have one new machine to ride each season. I'm still trying to find one that just plain works like that sled.

I'm with ya. First sled to be real fun with. Loved when 3rd cylinder kicked in. But most favorite is one I have now, 2011 Gade 4 stroke with American Flag wrap with very low miles. While a little heavy, it sure is comfortable to ride for this 75 year old.

My favorite would be my current machine, Ski Doo's Blizzard with the 900 ACE engine. It's an excellent Trail Sled for handling and mileage and the Ice Ripper makes a huge difference on hard pack and ice. She's a Keeper!

NOthing would wheelie like my 2012 Pro-R 800. That sled was a lot of fun. They just keep getting better and better. Hope the new VR1 I have on order sticks with the trend. Better and better.

My favorite in Blue: 2018 XCR Switchback 800 (Have an 850 on order!) and my favorite old sled in red, 25 years apart in age.

Not sure my favorite, but this sled created the most life time memories... 2004 A/C F6 I rode for 21,000 plus miles and literally pounded the snot out of her "spooky" that's her name, she never missed a beat. I still have the sled and ride spooky very little now (she's in the retirement fleet) after riding new stuff, the 04 F6 is difficult to enjoy.

P.S. The motor has never been touched, 21,000 plus miles on bone stock factory motor...… work horse.

All of them

I agree with all of them!
One that sticks out for me, was a 94 ZR700. Really fast and handeled very well. Of course nothing like the new sleds of today, but it sure was a fun snowmobile. Today i ride a 2018 Cross Country 800 137 and love just about everything about it.

1998 600XC - first yr with the domestic 600 in the wedge chassis. Incredible acceleration and cornered like it was on rails. It was awesome on trails. That was before I got into the whole boondocking style of riding.

1989 Polaris Indy 488 fan. No suspension, low power, ugly. Put more miles on that thing as a teen then I could shake a stick at. Crashed it twice. Still know the guy that has it. Lets it sit in a field all year and it still fires up for his kid to beat on.

Been a Skidoo fan forever....First new bought in 88....Favorite....possibly 93 Mach 1...loved that sled...on smoother trails that thing handled fast.....94 Mach Z was a fun sled....96 MXZ 670...that thing was fast and light....I think it had close to 20,000 miles when I stopped using it? Early 2000's was looking to purchase new and really didnt care for the Doo's at the time so I ordered a 2002 Sonic Blue 700X...with the M10...that was a great one...12,000 miles I think put on it? 05 Renegade 600SDI was a great sled....09 1200 MXZ was a great sled.....14 1200 was a great sled...19 900 Turbo is a wonderful sled....many turds in between all that.....so to answer the question and it pains me to say it....2002 Polaris 700 with the M10....that thing handled great at any speed...rode fantastic with the Polaris front suspension...didnt matter how fast you came into a turn...I knew with that sled id get thru it...never one ounec of trouble with it. A great one for sure.

first sled I owned with plastic ski's and didn't feel like i was driving a forklift thru the woods.
prolly because i was coming off a 96 triple with metal skis.
