83 TRAIL INDY 440 fan, first non leaf spring sled I had. It was a totally different ride after riding 80 JD Trailfire 340.

My favorite in Blue: 2018 XCR Switchback 800 (Have an 850 on order!) and my favorite old sled in red, 25 years apart in age.

Love my '17 XCR 800! That thing is so playful on the trails.
I decided to buy the wife a '18 XCR 800 Switchback. Heard the switchback is overall better ride than shorty. Getting it revalved for her 125lb weight. Bought it end of the season, so looking forward to next year! It is the red/black, but I love the blue/black scheme. I have the same Elite bumper(black) on my '17.

I will have to say my 02 viper. The motor had such a linear pull and the thing turn so flat. The sled was deceiving on how fast you would be going almost got In trouble a few times coming into the corners.

At the time my '98 SRX700...stupid fast for it's day (Bender ported so somewhat better than stock)...LOVED the triple/triple sound

Current ride, '17 S/W B-TX reflashed to 260 hp is a REALLY close 2nd...

I have three that are my favorite sleds

1973 Viking Vigilante SS, 440 Kohler fan cooled, wide ski stance, short seat made for 1 person, foot stirrups, and a rail suspension. I ran about 2000 miles per year on that sled.

1980 Polaris Centurion, 500 cc liquid cooled 3 cylinder engine, it felt like the fastest sled I ever rode with its 32" ski stance and 6 inches of rear travel. I did my first backpack trip on that sled, almost 600 miles in two days

2012 Switchback Assault 800, a perfect sled for my type of riding, I can do 300 mile days and feel fine even if the trails aren't great

Right now today is my '71 Scorpion Stinger 440. I love riding that POS. It is deadly though. She is a little on the squirelly side, no suspension and unpredictable a F, but It is fun as heck to ride. I rather ride the vintage sleds than the new ones most days. Don't put on many miles but it's always an adventure.
I still love my Yamaha Nytro. It's been my favorite sled until we got that '71 a couple years ago.

I love the sleds I currently have...smooth, quiet and very capable for snow conditions in the UP. That said, I bought twin 2003 AC Mountain Cat 600s with the 144 inch tracks back in the winter of 2002-03. Before picking them up from the dealer, I had them swap the tracks with 2 inch paddles for 1.25. They were 463 lbs and proved to be fantastic crossover sleds for the UP. They were great on or off trail. My son and I had a blast for several years on those sleds.

2012 Nytro XTX. She can be a handful in the twisties but for a nose heavy sled, she likes to jump. The ergos are great, nice torque and traction with a 1.6 track. Second was the 2000 SXR. Had to have a triple two stroke back in the day and I am glad I did. We all remember our first, right?? 1973 MotoSki F440 Dad bought us for Christmas.

Like others, the sled I currently have. 2004 Rev 500SS. It has plenty of giddy up and go for the way I ride, reliable, handles good, and rides good. Completely stock with the exception of a 1.25 track.
