Favre is way more of a player than any other in this league. I would say that Adrian Peterson bites it. but the biggest wiener biter is Brad Childress! The main thing is that the Vikes got to the NFC championship unlike the Quackers!

#4 is a great quarterback ! I really hope he calls it quits this time. I watched him get slower and slower as the game wore on. 40 years old and 19 years in the NFL is too much for anyone to bear. I would think it's a good way to go out!

Brett is still in the top 4 QB's in the NFL! I hope he retires and comes back to play for my Vikes again next year!

seriously,

Peterson lost the fumble at half that cost at least a field goal.

Favre had a good game, 5 turnovers kills anything related to victory.

Redrocket- get to bed!

hey redrocket, you don't get the trophy for finishing second in the NFC. secondly give me a call when the viqueens finally win the lombardi trophy. have a nice off season.

This was brought up 2 months ago about Adrian Peterson.....When your premier running back has major issues with fumbling the ball you do not go far in the playoffs. Now when you couple that with the rest of the teams turnovers tonight the odds are you lose the game.

Just watched his post game I will admit I do feel sorry for him he played his heart out looked like Rocky out there just kept getting up.But now we know why he doesnt play in GB any more cannot throw costly ints in those situations packers just got sick of it.Let the vikes worry about it now it was a heck of a game though Farve still one of the all time greats

snowman2 you summed it up perfectly. i hate the vikes and was rooting for them to lose, and then when i saw him in the interview i kinda felt bad for him. he is one tuff s.o.b. great point with the costly packer interceptions in the playoffs and the waffleing with retirement. green bay just had enough of it. the packers future is sooooo much brighter with a 26 year old rodgers than 40 year old favre it isn't even close!!

Thanks Timo I do feel I hit it on the head and another thing I do not understand is how people can pull for one of our arch rivals just because were out of the playoffs do whitesox fans pull for the cubs when there out do bear fans pull for the pack I dont think so you just dont do it be loyal to your team not just one player

Favre slows down??

Mabye those 240# missles called linebackers hitting him high and low caused a slowdown with his performance. Admitt it REDROCKET...He's FORTY years old.Look around at your forty year old friends and tell me one that could take that abuse and still manage to get up. I like GB too..but didn't see much green in the stands last night.

As a lifelong Packer fan I must shamefully admit that last year I also watched and routed for the Jets. This year I also watched and routed for the Viqueens. I am and always will be a Packer fan but the divorce with Favre still doesn't feel right. I like Rodgers and I think if Favre took some of the abuse Rodgers did this year he probably would have been missing games. Anyways he made it to overtime of the NFC championship game again and even though he did throw a couple picks yesterday I hardly think he was the reason they lost. The offense was very productive but they had lots of turnovers. Looked to me like the Vikings beat themselves more than anything.

4 played a great game he played through the pain limping along and still diving for the ball after AP dropped a ball set in his butter fingers.the interception would not have had happened if 4 was not forced to make something happen because of 3 dropped balls and bad coaching sending extra guys to the huddle.the vikes moved the ball better but beat themselves AGAIN
