R and me. Utah area early riding. The condition were spot on for chest deep powder all day. Once again Avalanche danger is high but we still had a ton of fun.

Hopefully I can keep my camera this time...haha, But I was back in mn for the holidays did a little riding in southern mn as well. Great snow for this early I was shocked.

Im currently back on the road heading to montana area. I talked to some good friends and pro riders out towards cooke city area. SNOW IS GOING TO BE DEEP!!! Whittle has a great report at antlers lodge I believe in cooke city. If he ever gets over this sick thing he has had.

that would be salt lake city. beyond that is the interstate/highway 15. thats looking northwest towards that city. That area is one of the only I know that is so close to a major city yet seems so far away. If one wanted to they could stay in salt lake city with the family and wife. Let them go shopping and the guys head up to the hill. It's a great place to convince the wife you should go and still be able to ride. hahah

That area gets great snow fall and has fantastic snow. it's always light and powdery, even into the spring. Once again there are some great ski hills and what not. A guy can break down out there and not be S.O.L for the time out. Repair shop, parts. lodging, shopping, and civilization are all within distance.

There are some areas very close to there that are secret little gems to ride. Rated in the top 6 for the lower 48. Thats saying a lot with all the remote areas I have rode.

that other picture is a old road I love to ride. It's like a u.p trail with 6 feet a fresh powder.
