Finally got my slice of Da Yoop!

In the 18 years we've lived in Twin Lakes, this house was only occupied at the most, 2 months per year. They say "there's a reason for most things" and I would say the wallpaper was designed to keep the varmits out the other 10 months of the year besides being the creation for alot of conversation and a good wake'r up'r in the mornings. LOL Now that you've seen some "before" pics, just wait till you see some "after" pics. HennesseyHandyman is the guy for the job

I would leave it but its too old and I remodeled a bathroom and the stuff I took out is 73 years newer!

I'd put in new mechanicals, but keep the pink. Why? Because those are some real conversation starters...
Think of the stories they'll help create!

Pink fixtures, that wonderful kitchen wallpaper, the striped blanket and pillow on the lazy boy chair, the flowered chair, even the lampshade is patterned.

One question, where did the blind people go that you kicked out of that house? No one with vision could live with those items, could they?

Was up again and started to make some improvements!
Painted the exterior"going to side it in a year or two and going to put in new windows yet this year!
Ran electrical to the garage with lights and outlets!
plumbed in and outside water spigot, pressure washed the exterior and painted! garage needs another coat"sucked up the paint like a sponge"
Painted the bedroom and front porch/bed area, and groomed the yard a bit and cleaned cleaned cleaned!

Very nice, congrats Scott!! I dig the pink stuff....LOL. In all reality if they are in good shape a second had store will give you some cash for them.....retro is in.
