I got home just before noon, from getting my "winter" tires on the truck.
As I was taking the "summer" ones out of the truck,... I heard that distinct
sound of a vehicle out of control on messy roads. I ran to the open garage door and stood there watching a little Ford Escort in its 2nd 360,..
Then it slid sideways for about 20 yards and headed for the ditch across the street from me. When it hit the gravel shoulder,.. it went up on 2 wheels for a second and came to a rest. The kid HAD to have soiled himself!
He then backed up, and proceeded to head towards town VERY SLOWLY!
It is still snowing hard here in Peshtigo at 4:35pm with about 3 inches on the
ground. Though it won't last,... it sure is a nice "First Taste"
