Thanks again! Here is an interesting spin on typical northwoods grooming from our Facebook page. Kudos to all the volunteer groomers.

Three Lakes - Brule River Trails
February 13 at 8:11pm ·

Did you know??
As of February 7th, we have logged 988.7 hours in our groomers this grooming season, which started December 20th. There were 50 days in that span or 1200 hours available to groom. So that means we had a groomer on the snow almost 82% of the time.

Living in the Phelps area and being a big mile trail rider in both UP and northern WI it is obvious which Clubs put in the trail maintenance effort and those that do the minimum. 3 lakes does a wonderful job grooming all their trails with less snow than areas north of them and should be recognized for their efforts. I ride with the owner of Watercraft Sales and he has encouraged me over the years to join the 3 lakes club for spirited club rides but I'm 40 miles north of the Shell station down the Kimball just to meet in AM. The Kimball is a wonderful & fav trail of mine bar none in WUP and northern WI.:)

Brule River Tap in early Jan

Sad to hear that. I used to love to go there but have not been in sometime. I have a cabin in Florence Co in Long lake and that is a stop I always remember going to as a kid 20+ years ago. I remember them feeding deer there and you would drive in and they would just look at you keep eating. Hopefully they get it cleaned up and start making some good safe food again

Ate at Brule River Tap on January 28th. No issues. Parking lot was packed with sleds and cars. Food was ok but not great.
