I love summer , fall winter and spring I love all the seasons that God gives us can't complain too much cause it 's in his hands can't wait for sweet corn from Ohio or Michigan nothing like it the fresher the better and covered with butter and salt and a hot charcoal fire on a grill with smoked ribs on it and fresh tomatos and strawberries that you pick from local farmers and if I was in Traverse City I'd be all over them cherries in a heart beat Swimming , fishing, boating and playing at Cedar Point and eating there great french fries Summer has a lot to do and i can't wait to get my fill

Ernie Harwell Day in Detroit

Today is the first day of summer and now it is Ernie Harwell Day.
Last week Detroit Mayor Dave Bing issued an official proclamation making today Ernie Harwell day in the city.
The longtime Tigers and Hall of Fame broadcaster died last month from cancer at the age of 92.
Bing said in the proclamation that Harwell's distinctive voice not only announced baseball games, but also signified the beginning of summer.

Yeah so true Thunderstruck all the seasons are awesome! And i wouldnt want to live anywhere that has the same climate all year.......I am so psyched about this winter! I love snow and snow storms. If there is a storm coming overnite i'll get up and check the radar at like 1am and 4 am. maybe 2 or 3 times in the nite to see the progress of the storm. It will be here soon....
