I have been using Fog Zero Defogger Paste for 2 weeks now on my glasses with BRP helmet & just like the name says fog zero. Used it on subzero days, foggy days, dry days, sunny days, warm days, cold days & zippo fog on my glasses. I bought Fog Zero at Lando Rec for I think $7 best $7 bucks I spent on snomo gear. Good stuff! I purchased some other defoggers but have not used them yet & not going to move on to another brand unless I have to hit it right the 1st time.:)

How often do you have to apply it on your glasses and do you use it on the helmet shield?

My routine is to wash my glasses with dish detergent dry apply Fog Zero Paste on both sides of lens polish put on BRP mod 1 helmet put on glasses step out my door & ride for 4-5 hours straight in afternoon using BRP 1 mod snot mop which most of the time is soaked in that time. I never crack visor unless draning the snake got to see down where that stuff is going. lol So if riding 8-10 hours you may have to apply twice but I have not ridden that long this year. For my use Fog Zero Paste works great only took me 10 years to find something that really works with BRP Mod helmet. Look up 1888fog zero on line they have demo video on visors holding over boiling water I thought was BS but not anymore.:)

I'll be in Munising this weekend. I don't suppose that anyone is coming from Lando and could pick me up a bottle? Beers are on me!

This stuff works great! Worked well on my glasses until I stopped to take pictures in a blizzard and snow got all over my glasses. I wiped them off and the fog zero came off and it was downhill from there until I picked up speed and got temps regulated (those that wear glasses know what I'm talking about).

Overall the best stuff ever for glasses. The wife had a heated shield go to pot so we put the regular shield on and put on the fog zero. No issues with fogging. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

I have to try, just for the record , I tried to order from their site... they charge $15 for a 1/4 oz and a flat rate of $20 for shipping. I said screw it, I will try to order from somewhere that doesn't charge 20 for shipping.

Looks perfect for hot heads w/ glasses.

Call their 800 number. I talked to them last week to find someone that had it on my trip. I travel on I75 from OH to the UP and the Indian River Sports had it which is right off of I75 literally right there. I called ahead because I wouldn't make it before they closed. I used a CC and it was left for me outside.

There were several other places that had it in MI. I think he mentioned Houghton and many others. I paid $10 at Indian River. I'm sure they'd ship it cheaper than $20 also.

What is nice for me now I can throw up the viser on BRP mod & shoot the breeze on the trail without glasses fogging. After stop I used have to wipe glasses get the air flow going just right & hope I didn't freeze the fog a real PITA. The Fog Zero paste made riding much more enjoyable for me.

I agree with that 100%. The stuff works great. I did find that moisture will still sometimes get on my glasses and makes it a little blurry though. Then it dries up. Not near what fogging does. The moisture has to go somewhere.

That only happened once all season so I vented jacket shut down handwarmers got my core temp down. When I got home my tutleneck & poly layer were both soaked got way too hot that day.

Yep I'm pretty much done wearing my liner in my coat. I wear a light base layer and somewhat light breathable shirt. Seems like way too much unless it's well below 20.

I don't wear anything more than a shell my sixsixone coreprotecter takes the place of liner or fleece even when below 0. I have lots of vents & use them to regulate temp. Best thing for me is turning handwarmers off to cool down & have to push mode button & can't do that on the fly so wait too long & get core too high sometimes. My mode is left in on the fly shock adjustment more important than hand warmers but just me.

I cant wait to get some. Life sucks as you get older, i need those darn glasses, " i have issues now with coordination & agility " let alone staying focused , not much worse than " hot head w/ fogged glasses ". I quit wearing, the snot mop in the breath deflector years ago, sometimes have the lining out in the jacket, any some times... dont wear a bacavla, it helps keep the head ventilated. I can be seen some times flying down the trail with one hand holding my jacket open having a forced air moment. I have gotten so pissed that I have even pulled my glasses off and slowed down .
I can even associate hot head+fogged glasses = blown belt on the way ..... LOL

LOL, My dad always says, "Its heck getting old, but it beats the alternative". Now I know what he means.;)
This is where the rider forward sleds come in handy though. When I start to feel a little warm while riding, I just stand up in the wind for a while. It cools me right down.
