Perfect Sandylake! X2! Yeah it's a hassle, and life isn't fair, but that's about. So, ride, enjoy, and be safe about it.
Yep.
Our local CO, Gast, just retired. People hated him! Whereas I never had a problem with him. I enjoyed our meet ups. He gave me lots of hot bite information out on the lakes and was a good cop.
Not breaking the law and complying with the law is so easy to do and somehow I do it everyday!
I'm not saying that there aren't bad cops. Back in college at MTU a cops made me pour out all of our beer that we just bought. One of the guys with us had just gotten a DWI and because he was with us he made us pour it all out or "I'm gonna throw your asses in jail". I was mad as heck but complied. I do not drink and drive nor did we do anything to warrant dumping our beer. At the same time that officer didn't last and found some other line of work.
So a few years later I heard of a situation where the Houghton County Sheriff's were wanting to upgrade some of their duty weapons and I was in a situation to be able to help. They got a new Remington 1100 Police shotgun from yours truly.
it's amazing what a token of appreciation like that can do.
