Is it me or is this the 3rd week in a row where the 5-10 day forecast called for fairly large amount of LES and when the time got close it all dissappears? Just wondering like alot of people Im sure, why this keeps happening? Thank God mother nature has been very nice to us so far, as our trails are fabulous around here , but am really feeling bad for the Northwoods.

Forecast was accurate in my eyes. Almost 4 inches of LES yesterday and last night. No wind today and sunny.

The pacific has really trashed the last 2 winters... Its frustrating after a good decade of cold and snow.

Man,... I am glad it has been getting pretty darn cold (locally) anyway,...
to freeze up everything and help the Ice fishermen out,...
but looking at all the "sunny days" in the forecast sure is disheartening.

But as far as winters go (locally) this blows.

I think Johndee had his second least snowiest december on record.... sub 20 inch snow totals in December is RARE in the Keweenaw. Last winter was HORRIBLE and this winter is only slightly better, at least northern Lower Michigan had good conditions at some point in the month of december this year.

Maybe chilton is the place to ride ? It may be just me not being able to capitalize on LES dumpings asap is a limiting factor... But even with the snow that has fallen everywhere in MI... doesn't get me jumping for joy. There is simply not enough base and the weather is not cooperating again. Sorry if I sound all doom & gloom but I don't see anything in the far out forcast to get excited about. Done whining.... at least this is my .02 for today.

Mother Nature Bring it.... How about if I put my stuff up for sale ( all of it ) .... wonder if that would help ? I think I would do it to turn the season around and just rent 3-4-5 times....
