Frozen Four

Is there any college hockey fans on JD. The Frozen Four is this Thursday/Saturday in St. Paul. Thursdays early game is Minnesota-Duluth vs Notre Dame, the late game is Michigan vs North Dakota.

MN Duluth and Notre Dame are going for their first national title in hockey and Michigan is going for number 10, with North Dakota going for number 8, they are the two with the most titles to date (Denver U also has 7 titles.)

I'm a Miami U (OH) alum. Big hockey school. They didn't make the Frozen 4 this year. Sad. So I have nothing important to add to this thread- since I don't have a tie to any of the 4 who are playing.

Yes we are big hockey fans. We are going back to IA this weekend so Hubby can auction off the jerseys for the Waterloo BlackHawks. Josh(Podge) Turnball played for them, now plays for WI. He is from Hayward WI. Butch Johnson from Hayward owns the BlackHawks. We will be watching, cheering on whoever.

Not a good night at all, the Michigan goalie was great though, the Duluth coach played here and was an assistant coach here and is a great guy so

The Wolverines are getting the job done. One more game to go. Their penalty killing has been exceptional this tournament. Hunwick has been crazy good in the nets, especially considering he wasn't the starter for the beginning of the season. Go Blue!!
