My GPS map is showing 2 gas locations, both in close proximity to one another. If I remember, gas on the island is pricier than that on the mainland. I would top off on the mainland and start the island with a full tank.
I haven't been on drummond in a few years but I remember that the restaurants close early - 2PM or so.....not sure about the gas stations but I wouldn't wait too long! Make sure you gas up earlier rather than later -
I don't recall the place we stop at closing that early, but it's a bar/restaurant. I don't recall the name and I've never stopped anywhere else so I can't speak for the others. You are probably right, sounds logical to me!
