Who makes that 4 stroke?.
2 stroke, yes...many fun choices from ALL 3 mannies.
Over the past 3 months of reading your posts, I get the impression that you would like to see EPS on the yamacats....I guess I can't blame you, but imo, the cat pro-cross chassis has much lighter steering than any pre- EPS Yamaha 4 stroke.
Not sure what your financial situation is, but if you have the $$, do yourself a favor and get out of the rut your apex has you in and buy an 800 2 stroke and set it up as yur own. By all means keep the Apex, but give yourself another choice from day to day.
I think you will be surprised which sled you tend to hop on more often than not.
WGetting way off the purpose of Kip's last run Apex post but the answer is I have been there done that with Doo MXZ ZX 800 2s and blew up on me as did other 2s over the years. Yamaha 4s engines need very little care and feeding and what I need to ride alone to get me home on every ride. If I wanted 2 sleds I prolly would buy a used Nytro or Phaser to play with and bang play areas in my neighborhood but for cruising WI and MI trails my 2012 Apex XTX is perfect for me. SW is nice sled but a lot of money for another cruiser that does not need to be replaced at this time.... In short I'm good with my Apex XTX & want to stay with 1 sled at this time.

well it was just a suggestion. .....getting back on topic, order an 18 super apex and be set forever..... i think that trick shock valving might be a winner winner..... me I am cheap and will take my chances on a leftover.....got my eye on new leftover X-TX for under 10k..... just need to see what my nytro will get me in a trade.
