Wow...Hadn't heard that, doesn't surprise me tho. That portion of the lake just froze within the last couple of days.

The Winnipeg/St Paul 500 is supposed to take place around the middle of Feb. Last year it got cancelled because of lack of snow. Doesn't look good again.

Way to pre-mature.... cold is coming and event is still a month out...sad to shoot from hip this early... was looking forward.

The event planner's decision maker seems to have gone off prematurely.
Cancelling 45 days out is way too early especially in this sport. I realize this is a big event and maybe corporate rep. attendees need prior notice, but come on.
Going to miss it.
