garden hose that colapses

Anybody ever try one of those garden hoses on TV that shrink up when you empty the hose? I bought one at Menards because I was tired of the unruly plastic hose. Honestly, these new hoses work extremely well and I highly recommend them,,at least the one I got from Menards. So stinking light and saves so much space especially if you use it in the winter to wash your car in the garage.. I did wash my car in garage many times last winter and after you shut the water off and open the hose the thing just shrinks right up and is empty, doesn't keep dripping. Not sure but it probably is more delicate so you would have to be careful not to damage it.

I keep one in the truck usually just stuffed in the pan of the tile saw for jobs people dont have hoses at. surprising how many people dont have a hose or it is not hooked up to the faucet closest to the saw

Seems like after 2 years they're junk, still pretty convenient and worth it though as long as you realize it's disposable and not a permanent one.

I bought one last year and it works great.
I also had one from the year before (not the same brand) and one of the plastic ends broke off.

Yup, it's not gonna replace the outdoor hose but for specific use it serves a good purpose,,,, ultra light weight and space savings.

Yeah, my wife bought one a couple years ago and I made fun,( isn't one shriveled up hose enough!)
Any way, now we have a couple and I find myself using them.

I've got one in the cabinet in the kitchen. Use it to top the hot tub in the winter, works great. I think the ones with the brass fittings would hold up better for out side use. If I can find them I'll get a couple for the camp.

if they could make these hoses last longer they'd be the greatest invention since the tv,
I bought two 50 footers. One I still have the other burst after two weeks.
I returned it to get my money back and the guy at the counter said he'll add in to the other 500 hoses in back that burst and were returned.
once the hose I still have bursts i'll go back to the standard hoses.
they just don't last at all.

I love mine. Leaks a lot at the fittings. Can't seem to get the attachments on tight enough. Saw one at Home Depot with the brass fittings. I may have to splurge on that.
I would like a 100' one for the deck.
