I believe I am having some trouble with my sled, i have been riding it in the yard and I have out about 25 miles on it this year. It has used about a 1/4 tank of gas. Last year, i know i was having trouble because on a snow day I had riden about two miles and used a 1/4 tank. I guess my question is, what could have been my problem, and how can I fix this?

Well it is the float style in the tank... I dont see how it could be bad, other than if the float was stuck, which wasnt the case becuase the needle was moving around. Could it be bad reeds?

Measure a known amount of gas in the tank and ride for a few miles then suck it out and re-measure the amount left then figure the milage. The tank gauges are about useless.

Ok, let me tell more of the story. Evfery time i rode the sled last year, i smelled gas. i was bored one day and finally took it apart and found that the sirbox had gas in it. (actually standing in the bottom) i dumped it out, and i couldnt find anything else wrong. after i put it back together, it seemed to run better. and this year it has seem to run fine. I don't know why the gas was getting sucked back into the airbox, that just doesnt make sense to me.
