That depends, he says; "Gas tank question on 2019 skidoo 600 etec".
If he added an "R" I would agree with it being a Gen-4 but he doesn't.
He likely has a run of the mill normal build 2019 600 E-tec, the "R" came out late in the year and almost nobody has one. If they do, they paid more for the 600 "R" than an 850 on the Gen-4 platform, ridiculous marketing at it's finest.

I do agree that the Gen-4 fixed the tank burp though.

Hi Bear - I know they made and still put the 600 carb in the older chassis although I thought all the 600 etecs starting in 2019 were the "600R" and in the G4 chassis. I'm pretty sure the 600R was a late 2018 release (2018.5) at least that's what the interwebs say.

I apologize, I mentally missed a year.
Anything I said was related to the 2018.5 600R.

Sorry, Bear

I don't know about it being a must that Etec's get great fuel mileage? I do know is this, Etec's do get great fuel mileage.
I ride with a bunch of paranoid people that think they are out of fuel every 50 miles. We stop for gas and they put 3.5 gallons in. Drives me crazy. Just to prove my point (we're not going to run out of gas) I never burp my tank.

All of the 2019 600 etec's are the 600r. I have not called my dealer but it sounds like the pressure build up is pretty normal. Thanks for all the replies.
