Getting excited

Holden you to it JD, hope to see Yellow tomorrow!!!

I doubt that you will see yellow in the maps tomorrow, just because the snows this week that make the 24" totals will be spread out over the course of several days. I just meant that if I were to do a map that did cover all the snow forecasted to fall this week, there would be yellow.

Still a very good thing!

With all of the building enthusiasm here, and with PINK now starting to show up on John's 5-10 Day Forecast Graphic, maybe it's time to lift your spirits with this item.
(Not to mention I just happened to find it while cleaning up some disk storage. How timely!)

After reading John's Journal today:
"Mother nature, I know you are reading this. So this is for you…I dare you…no, double dare you….nope, I triple dog dare you to break me and have me beg for it to stop snowing.

We look to see rains tomorrow and then those rains will change to snow tomorrow night or early Tuesday morning and then it looks like the lake snow guns will open up on us by Tuesday and continue for the rest of the week and possibly into the weekend. The snows will likely come down pretty hard at times and given the fact that they are suppose to occur almost non-stop for 7 days, I have a hard time seeing us not get at least 2 feet of snow, perhaps more. …"

I hope he will be thinking back to this "A tale of winter in da Keweenaw" post after the currently anticipated snow event eases off.

1. He deserves it. 2. It's about time!
And the same to all the rest of you snow-starved sled jockeys! :devilish:

just now starting to get excited about this snow season. If I only had s sled I'd be more excited. Odds are I won't be ably to buy one this year but next season a 162" will be in order. You guys chomping at the bit now that trail are officially open but no snow on them? That may change real quick with the cold that's coming!

lenny, I have my black crossfire as a spare. if we are up, your more than wecome to grab it and ride !!!! {jerry}
