I had 09 iq 800.... no prob with skis from 0 to 126 no darting now with 2011 fst still no darting. ski alignment is most important. also run duallys on both. no probs

That has an entirely different rear suspension...doesn't it? The M12?

The FSTs are nice.

My take/experience on darting remedy-
Usually happens because you have to much ski pressure-ie. Limiter strap is too tight causing imbalance of too much weight balance on the skis instead of the track. Start with loosening that adjustment first. Stiffening up the front springs really just adjusts the firmness of the ride in the bumps. The way I used to adjust my sleds was to have the rider sit on the sled on a flat cement garage floor. You should be able to turn the skis without any difficulty even with new carbides. If you can't then loosen the limiter until you can.
I know these are personal preferences but this method always worked for me. Then adjust front shock firmness to your liking as well as skid springs/shocks based on rider(s) weight. Hope this helps. Matman
