Giant gear bag

probably 20 years ago I bought one of those oversized duffle bags at the milwaukee snow show, it was one that had compartments on each end of bag where I could get a pair of boots in each end, the center part was big enough I could get 3 pairs of bibs, mine and my wifes jackets and miscellaneous gloves, hats and head wear. one of the seams are starting to come apart, the bag does not owe me a dime. Does anyone know of a good bag of similar size or know if the outlet that always has the duffle bag display at snow shows has a on line store? Thanks!

Perhaps check out Dennis Kirk, or other on line suppliers? I bought a 'Sno Rider' gear bag years ago from Shade Tree. Shade Tree is no more, but the bag has served me very well for many years, and is in great shape still today.

I bought the same bag at the same show many years ago. Filled it so full it tore. It’s too heavy for me to lift anymore. 😂 They have a life time warranty and did replace it for me once. I no longer recall the manufacturer or supplier, so I’ll live with the damaged unit.

My kid played hockey. When i was at the hockey haven getting skates sharpened saw bags on closeout super cheap. If you want a really large one you could grab a goalie bag

Rig 9800 Travel Bag By Ogio. I have this one and love it. I little pricy, but worth it.

^^^ this or the Ogio Terminal Travel Bag. Smaller than the RIG 9800 and cheaper. I have this one and can fit a lot of stuff in it.
I use this as well! Because of the "SLED" bottom you can pull it through the snow. My only complaint with the bag is the amount of storage on the top half of the bag. Personally I would have prefered to have the bag the same height but the top storage area not on the opening top section but a area in the bottom of that bag. If that makes since. The only reason is because at hotels when you open the bag you can not just roll the top back, you basically double the foot print of the bag because of everything in the top you need to access. Which when I pack my gear goes in the bottom and my cloths go in the top. I normal pack my size 15 boots pants and helmet in the bottom of the bag. and wear my coat. I've only forgent the coat once. LOL

I have this bag from Amazon too but the plastic rails at the bottom crack one winter. However if the 9800 was laid out this exact way it would be perfect!

First of all thank all of you for your recommendations, I have looked at them all, price is really not an issue to me, funny thing is I think back when I bought the bag I have I paid around $40 for it and I can attest to eyeman it gets very heavy with 2 1/2 sets of gear, 2 pairs of boots and misc, however it was nice having it all in one bag, both for transport and on the shelf in off season so I would kind of like to stay with that style of bag for that reason. I have tried finding the bag I have to no avail, but... I see FXR offers a similar bag with same type of compartments and am leaning more towards that one right now.

I have one of those big klim bags. Bought it used from someone off craiglist at least 10 years ago. It was well used when I got it (said aggressive sled gear on it, which I think is from the early years) and is finally starting to falling apart. As much as I like the layout and all the compartments I'm actually looking forward to getting something else that has wheels. It's super easy to pack and is just the right size, but it's too darn heavy to move around. My son played hockey a couple years when he was little so I'm going to try that bag this year. It has wheels but just one big compartment. I've thought of going back to a plastic tote, maybe if I could find one with wheels, for the waterproofness and maybe if it's sturdy something to sit on if I'm getting geared up or BSing in the trailer.

Many years ago my brother had given me an actual parachute bag from his days in the military. Its nice heavy duty canvas with a huge strong zipper. Makes carrying the gear really nice and easy.
