Giloman tune and clutch kit on Ranger

I put a performance tuned ECM and a high miliage low rpm clutck kit on my Ranger northstare crew ultimate. I also run 30 inch tires. My goal is to increase gas miliage and decrease noise. Clutch kit is smooth and power for hills is fine.it is much less noise.you sacrifice some snappiness but its worth it rpms are 1000 lower across the range. Havient tried performance mode yet as im breaking in a new belt. There is 20 more hp. In performance mode.

I did the clutch alone on a 2018 Ranger Northstar & the tune & clutch on a 2023 Ranger Northstar. I don't think I would do the tune again as I really didn't want/need the extra hp. With the tune, when it's hot outside you do get quite a bit of radiator heat as it lowers the engine temp by 20 degrees and the fan runs a lot. I don't think 20 degrees will extend the engine life, as the 2018 has nearly 40,000 miles and the 2023 is at 27,000 miles and both are running fine. We now have a 2025 Ranger 1500 Northstar and this rig is in a totally different class.
